The six multi-dimensional, schooled, versatile and talented musicians who make up ROCKIN’ RANDY’S FLYING CIRCUS — also known for their dazzling performances as HOT FOR TEACHER, the Van Halen Experience (the music industry’s favorite Van Halen act as apparent through their annual NAMM appearances and also voted Best Tribute Band 2008 by the readers of Northern California’s East Bay Express) — have combined their musical craftsmanship and decades of performing experience to bring you a huge repertoire of songs, so that at your next event, you can have “music the way you want it.”
ROCKIN’ RANDY’S FLYING CIRCUS bandleader and front-man is classically trained vocal powerhouse RANDY MONROE, who sings with the sound and soul of many of the world’s most adored crooners. Hangin' in the trenches, Master Guitar Sergeant JEFF JONES(St. Elmo's Fire, Vamp Le Stat, recipient of Billboard Magazine's Songwriters Award and currently writing for several TV shows on FOX Television) and six-string sharpshooter ERIC JORGENSEN(Star Search, MTV, music for movie: The Last Kennedy, Terry Bozzio and more) both handle all the rhythm and lead guitar riffs, big and small with fire, funk and finesse. Boppin' and show stoppin' classically trained pianist JASON GOODMAN holds down the keyboard sounds and has performed with pop tribute Mandonna and for a multitude of dignitaries and ambassadors around the world including Howard Stern and Sirius Radio. JESSE SCOTT, an accomplished conductor and music director with a double Masters degree from both the Boston and New England Conservatories of Music, boggles minds in ways most people never knew a bassist could, while percussionist par excellence ED STUDEBAKER keeps the musical wheels on the road, driving the band with a high-revving grooves that always fire on all cylinders; while the Flying Circus’ incredible five-part vocal harmonies are alone worth the admission.
ROCKIN’ RANDY’S FLYING CIRCUS is based out of Northern California and performs in virtually every type of venue you can imagine, whether your event is in a nightclub, a private party, a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, a winery, a concert hall, a casino, an outdoor festival, a fair, or a stadium. RRFC is very competitively priced and with appropriate notice can and will perform any and all requested material.
If you want the true cumulative rock experience that's been a "Longtime" coming, "Wanted, Dead or Alive" and "Hard to Handle" by "Girls, Girls, Girls", “Anyway You Want It” 'cause you're a "Jukebox Hero", then you better pull in to the “Hotel California". But "Don't Tell Me You Love Me", though love is “What I Got” and “I Got You”. When it comes to great music, even if you live "Under a Bridge", you have to "Jump" on either your “Bad Motor Scooter”, “Crazy Train” or "Love Rollercoaster" and follow this band wagon's "Semi-Charmed Kind of Life" cause we’re gonna avoid the "Sandman" and "Carry On My Wayward Son"; just ask those on their "Rebel Yell" who have already “Shook'd Me All Night Long". So, "Walk This Way" "Sweet Child O' Mine" 'cause no other band can bring "Pride", "Double Vision" and "Vertigo" to everybody "Working for the Weekend" and a more definitively produced and authentic recreation of the sounds of summers past, than the musicians of ROCKIN’ RANDY’S FLYING CIRCUS!
